Jody’s Fruit Salad

This recipe is SUPER simple, FRESH, and NOT mushy.

Start with the Tupperware Season Serve (marinating container).
Cut up a variety of fresh fruits into bite size pieces.  I pick my favorites, but any in season fruit will do.  Frozen fruit DOES NOT WORK!!!
I usually start with 1/2 of a small pineapple, add grapes, 1-2 apples, 1 pear, raspberries and blueberries and strawberries, if fresh.  I just sprinkle each fruit on top of the others until it looks like I have a good balance of color.  Oranges do work, but too much acid for me, so I usually skip them.  Bananas can be added, but only when ready to serve.  They get mushy quickly.
On top of all the cut up fruit I drizzle the juice of 1 lemon** and liquid stevia, mixed together, or just the juice and then drizzle agave nectar over it.  Stir gently and refrigerator.
Everyone loves this fruit salad including me.  It’s an old Tupperware recipe from 30 years ago that I recreated to make it healthier.  It stays fresh for many days and freezes well for smoothies later.
**Lemon juice – I usually buy a bag of lemons when on sale, juice them all at once, and fill many Tupperware 2 oz. midget containers and freeze.  One 2 oz. container=juice of 1 lemon.  To use, I defrost in the refrigerator overnight or in the microwave quickly.
