MinistriesBible studies and classes:Precept Ministries International Jody’s Bible Study I'm still waiting for God to open doors for me to teach again after my life slows down and He brings women who are interested. For now, I'll keep watching and learning from Joyce Meyer, Life Today, and the 700 Club. Community Group My husband, Jim, and I are also hosting a community group in our home that we would like to invite you to. We will be retelling different stories from the bible every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm. This is a fun way to learn or recall what many of us learned as children or heard about and forgot. Every week we learn something new that we never realized before. It's so exciting that my 21 yr old daughter retold the story of Noah and the Flood in her own words. How exciting - she hasn't opened a bible in years. I got to retell the story of Joseph. We have a great time learning together. We have lots of refreshments afterwards. We try to be done by 8:30 and out the door by 9:00 pm. We do hope you will join us sometime. We are continuing through the summer with occassional cookouts. Miracles of God Besides all the miracles God performed in our relocation last summer I just have to encourage you that He truly is a God of miracles. One of my dear friends and MIT prayer partners, has also seen the awesome power of God working in her life recently (Jan-Feb 2010). Her husband lost his job a few months ago and as they patiently waited for God to lead them, they prayed fervently, as well as the rest of us. God recently answered and he had a few job interviews around the country. Did you get that? We both had to be willing to move/relocate to where the jobs were and leave our homes (family, friends, church, and ministries). God was amazing as they, too, had a home in Phoenix to sell and of course, the market has gotten even worse in Phoenix since we moved last summer. She also planned to wait patiently and pray for several months, BUT, our GREAT BIG GOD sold their home within 10 days, at asking price, with CASH. Now that, is an AMAZING GOD!!! The new owners want the house ASAP, so she had to get her packing done asap and contact her moving company. They were able to schedule her move, halfway across the country, starting next week. We are PRAISING GOD for His Goodness and Outpouring of Blessings on us!!! The Miracles have continued. Our 21 yr old daughter gave birth to twin boys on the 4th of July, 2010 (15 weeks early). Both were miracles as they each weighed only 1 1/2 lbs. Henry lived 8 weeks and we praise God for those 8 weeks. He was so precious to us as he was named after my grandfather. Aryan is doing great and was up to 5 1/2 lbs. on 10-10-10 and is probably close to 15 lbs. now as he approaches his 1st birthday (in Phoenix). We were on a roller coaster with both boys and had everyone praying for them and their parents. We continue to pray for Aryan as he is still in the hospital but doing so well. He should be home by the end of October. We thank and praise God for technology and the wonderful NEW NIC unit and staff at Women and Infants hospital in Providence, RI. It is one of the state of the art NICU in the country. God is so good. We also pray for his father that he, too, would accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and turn his life over to Him.
